The Chicago Juneteenth Parade is intended to celebrate and entertain all people of all ages. As a parade participant, you agree to be photographed, videotaped and grant the The Chicago Juneteenth Project permission to put the images to any uses that it may deem proper including (though not limited to) marketing, advertising and PR related activities (using - though not limited to - print, radio, television, internet and social media). You hereby release, discharge and agree to hold harmless The Chicago Juneteenth Project, St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church, its affiliates, employees, officers, and directors from any liability or claimed liability in connection with the aforementioned use of your photograph, name, likeness or performance, including, but not limited to, any claim you have or might have for invasion of privacy, misappropriation and/or defamation. Each participating individual, group, company or members of any participating organization will comply with all applicable federal, state, county and local laws during the parade and at the post-parade picnic. I further fully release and discharge, and hold harmless the Chicago Juneteenth Parade, The Chicago Juneteenth Project, St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church, any named sponsors and their officers, staff, employees and agents, all sponsors from any and all claims from injuries, including death, damages or loss of property which I may have or which may impact me on account of my participation in the activities of the parade. I acknowledge that I have read, fully understand and agree with these statements by entering my name. *

Parade participant registration is required and due by Sunday, June 9, 2024

Vehicles must be FULLY decorated to be allowed entry. See the images above for examples.
Decorations will NOT BE PROVIDED.
We reserve the right to restrict entry of vehicles not appropriately decorated, but will welcome you to join us along Madison Street as a spectator!
Participants must arrive by 9:00 a.m. to check-in and be placed.
Registration is required for parade participants; you will not be allowed to join the parade without completing this form by the due date.
If you are a spectator who will celebrate from the sidelines or at the post-parade picnic, you do not need to register.
Please consider making a donation to help offset the costs of this annual FREE parade and picnic and help us make a bigger impact on the West Side throughout the year. All donations are tax-exempt!
